Month of Oct-Nov is the season for Nepalese Hindus to trip to Manakamana, Gorkha. Manakamana is the name of a Hindu Goddess. It is not only believed that the Goddess fulfills the wishes of the people, many have realised this. The term ‘mana’ means the ‘heart' and ‘kamana’ means the ‘wish’. It is said that a King of Gorkha was blessed by the goddess to get victory over small kingdoms and make a big Gorkha(Nepal).

What to do during Load-shedding period? |

The country Nepal where we live or work in is on the middle of an energy crisis. The main energy crisis which we are facing is the 35 hours of Load-shedding. With so much of Load-shedding during morning, afternoon, evening and night; many people like me must have been saying 'WHAT THE HELL' or 'OH NOT AGAIN!' or typical Nepali 'HYAAAA!!!' when light goes off. I know you feel grounded in a country filled with diversity, enthusiasm, confusion, frustration but with a little hope.
So guys here are some things that I would like to share to be done in our time in the dark: 1. Make sure your Cell phones, mobiles, mp3/mp4 or Ipod are charged and are filled with lots of exciting or even booring(at least you get involved in something) articles, videos, music, songs etc and when its load-shedding start involing on those. 2 Any person who has a Laptop make sure it is fully charged and watch a movie or a few episodes of any serials. (I suggest HEROS(Coz I like this) or any other).

It was June 19 night that I was watching Star News, one of the news program of Star TV network. There was a news advert that said in 10:30 IST there will come one program named "Sansani" and has the heading that there is a woman that cures people drinking their blood. After 10:30, I was there watching that program.
